Our Fineline Frames work shop has had a revamp both inside and out,
with our new Farrow and Ball paintwork.
New signage and plants giving the outside of the building a great new
up to date appearance that matches our partner business,
The Photographers Gallery, in Holt.
The interior of the Building has also received a new coat of paint in the
new colour scheme , with more detailed information of our range of
products and useful customer information. |
It's a Framing Challenge Dec 2010
One of our customers from the south east gave us a really big criteria
when they ask if we could frame their much loved football shirt
The conversation went a bit like this:
"Can we have the shirt framed so it looks like it's hanging in
mid air with nothing touching it ?
OK.
We want to be able to see the wall behind the shirt .
OK.
Sometimes we may wish to see the other side of the shirt
and hang it to show that side for a while.
Of Course.
Oh yes... and can we also have the certificate in the
frame also looking like its hanging in mid air ? "
No problem."
Well I would be a liar if I said this was a easy job ,because it wasn't ,
but as you can see we found solutions to all of our customers
needs and they went away very pleased indeed

November 09 New Framer Joins the Team
With our customer numbers growing and more demand on reaching tight
dead lines, we were glad when Charly Cox came to work with us.
Graduating from Norwich school of Art and Design in 2007 with a BA
Hons in Fine Art and specialising in print making and photo media,
Charly has proved herself to be a great framer for someone so young.
She has a keen eye for detail, something we take pride in at
Fineline Frames.
Our Hand Finished Frames at Salthouse 09
Some of our hand finished Farrow and Ball frames have been used by
talented Artist Cecilia Evans for the fourth coming Salthouse 09 exhibition,
which runs from 2 July to 2 August.
Cecilia, who in the past has exhibited at the Royal Academy London, wanted a
fresh look to her stunning limited edition wood cuts. We feel we have ticked
all the boxes by using the hand finished frames with signed float mounts.
We also used fillet's to take the art work away from the glass,
which also gave the frame's a contemporary look.
Be sure not to miss out on this show with 50 artists there in total.
